How your account links to your athlete
What your guardian account can see about your athlete, and what stays private
Your guardian account doesn't stand alone — it's tied to your athlete's profile, which is what gives you their schedule and results. The link is made for you: the coach connects your email to your athlete, and when you accept the invitation, everything wires up automatically. There's nothing to set up on your end.
What the link gives you
Once linked, you see your athlete's side of the app: their profile and competition group, their full meet schedule with entries and seed times, and their race results and personal bests as the coach imports them. In other words, the same swimming information your athlete sees about themselves.
What stays private
The link is scoped to your athlete. You can't see other swimmers' personal details or other families' contact information, and they can't see yours.
More than one child
Your account can be linked to several athletes, and you switch between them in the app. If a child is missing, ask the coach to link them — that's done from their side.
Something looks off?
- A name is misspelled — the coach owns athlete details; ask them to correct it.
- Results are missing — they appear a day or two after a meet, once the coach imports them.
- The events look wrong — entries are managed by the coach (and, on club teams, declared by your family).
