Export entries for meet software
Hand your meet entries to championship systems and HyTek in the formats they require
When you enter a meet that someone else runs, the host needs your entries in a file their software can read. Export yours from the meet's Events tab. Reach for this on two occasions: submitting to a championship meet before its entry deadline, or handing entries to a host running HyTek Meet Manager.
Which format
| Format | Use it for | Extension |
|---|---|---|
| SDIF (SD3) | USA Swimming championship submissions | .sd3 |
| HY3 | Hosts running HyTek Meet Manager | .hy3 |
Both carry your individual entries, relay teams and their order, and the team identity (abbreviation and registration codes) that the receiving system uses to file you correctly.
Before you export
The file is only as complete as the meet. Make sure the meet has its name, dates, and location filled in, that entered athletes have seed times, and that each relay has its four swimmers in order. A championship system will reject a file with missing team registration codes — confirm those under team setup.
Troubleshooting
No export button — you need coach-level permissions on the team.
The file is empty — the meet has no seeded athletes yet. Build the lineup first.
Relays are missing — those relay teams don't have four swimmers assigned in order.
